Fayetteville, AR – Pace Industries, North America’s largest custom aluminum die casting company, has acquired Del Mar Industries Inc.’s zinc die casting business, which was part of the company’s Del Mar Die Casting Business in Gardena, CA.
The acquisition is effective immediately and enables Pace and Del Mar to significantly enhance the long term health of their respective businesses.
“Now more than ever, companies are looking for ways to efficiently grow business,” said Pace Industries CEO Scott Bull. “This acquisition not only helps us achieve that goal but strengthens our position and expands our capabilities in the zinc die casting sector.”
The acquisition significantly increases the size of Pace Industries’ zinc operations, which puts the company in a much stronger position to serve its customers. Pace already conducts zinc die casting operations in St. Paul, MN, North Billerica, MA, and Harrison, AR.
In addition, the transaction allows Del Mar Industries to channel all of its resources into its magnesium and aluminum operations. Del Mar will assist its zinc customer base through the transition.
“We plan to be actively involved in the transition to ensure customers see a continuation of the quality and service they have come to expect from Del Mar,” said Del Mar Industries president and
CEO Doug Taylor. “We view this as a positive move for each of our companies.”
