Wheeling, IL – June 23, 2010 – Beginning in 2011, the North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) is excited to announce that they will once again be hosting die casting specific shows.
The Die Casting Congress & Tabletop and Die Casting Congress & Exposition will occur in 2011 and 2012 respectively. The Die Casting Congress & Tabletop will be Sept. 19-21, 2011, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center – Battelle Hall South in Columbus, OH. During the three days of Congress sessions, technical and management presentations will be given by experts from around the world. These presentations will expose metalcasters to the latest technology, ongoing research and successful management tools that will assist companies in enhancing their competitiveness.
“We look forward to a strong combination of technical papers and supplier displays that will demonstrate die casting’s important part within the entire metalcasting industry,” said NADCA president Daniel L. Twarog. The Congress sessions will be presented at the adjoining Hyatt Regency Columbus.
In addition to the Congress sessions, this tabletop show will feature more than 60 exhibitors, the International Die Casting Design Competition, a design luncheon and an awards banquet.
NADCA is excited to once again be providing an annual event that is exclusive to the die casting industry and its suppliers. The 2012 and 2015 Die Casting Congress & Exposition will be held in Indianapolis, the first week of October (Monday-Wednesday).
“This decision was made by NADCA because our joint venture partner requested a significant reduction in NADCA’s portion of these events proceeds,” said Twarog. “The level requested made it uneconomical for NADCA to move forward in the joint venture agreement.”
